Spring Turkey Hunting at Buck Valley Ranch provides you an excellent opportunity to harvest a beautiful Rio Grande Turkey. Our semi-guided hunts give you the benefit of our knowledge and the freedom to hunt on your own. We drop you off and pick you up so we can tell you about the property and share our experience with the behavior of the birds.
You can hunt on a day-hunt basis or take advantage of one of our packages. A day of semi-guided hunting is priced at $100 per hunter. Birds are $300 each.
Our packages both include three-days and two nights. Arriving the first afternoon you can get a daylight tour of the hunting areas of the ranch and then set up for an evening hunt. After the hunt take advantage of the Hideout to relax and watch our game at the lighted feeders outside. After a great night’s sleep you’re ready to head out early to be in position where the birds are rousting. Mornings are normally most productive and you’ve got a pretty good sense of the area having spent time on the ground the previous afternoon.
The second afternoon gives you an opportunity to explore other areas or refine your plans based on your morning hunt. You’ll also have a chance to view some of the beautiful exotic animals like Blackbuck Antelope and Scimitar-horned Oryx that roam Buck Valley Ranch. After another restful night you’ve got one more morning to hunt.
The Hunting Lodging package includes two night’s lodging, guide services, use of the HideOut and other ranch facilities, exclusive use of the entire ranch and one Rio Grande Turkey. The Hunting Lodging package is priced at $650 per hunter.
The Full Service package includes everything in the Hunting Lodging package and adds meals prepared specially for you by our chef and all beverages, including alcohol. The Full Service package is priced at $1,000 per hunter.
Extra birds are $300. Should you be so inclined you are also welcome to hunt our exotics. Prices are available on request.
